July is nutrition awareness month! Haha... ironically, I went to see my doctor and I was again reminded the importance of vegan diet for my health condition, other than vegan diet, no simple sugar as well. This is so challenging for someone who likes eating tasty meat, chips, and sweets. Perhaps knitting some veggie will inspire me... hehehe...
I explored the patterns of Hansi Singh's Amigurumi Knits: Patterns for 20 Cute Mini Knits. In order to knit the aubergine and tomato, one needs a set of double pointed needle or two circular needles. Unfortunately I don't have that so I knitted it flat instead of circular. After knitting, I just sew, stuff then sew it up. It wasn't easy, but hey with minor revisions, I finished some veggies. By the way, Singh's terms are new to me, so I have to check several steps thru YouTube. I am so thankful for those who share their skills and talents on YouTube.

I will knit more vegetables once I have a set of 3mm double pointed knitting needles. (n.n)
