I learned how to knit when I was 10 years old. In our school most kids know how to crochet and/or knit. One of the projects in our school was to make a muffler. Most of my classmates made crochet mufflers, however since our teacher did not teach us how to knit or crochet (perhaps she assumed all her students know how to knit or crochet, I wonder why? because we live in Baguio???) I asked my eldest sister to teach me, she knows knitting than crocheting so she taught me how to knit... literally knit stitch only (well, cast on and knit stitch - no purl and cast off)!
Years passed (like 16 years?), I forgot all about knitting until my sister who taught me how to knit went back in the Philippines and I saw her knitting needles. I got inspired and started to learn how to knit. With her help and watching YouTube videos I learned the basics of knitting.
Now that I have developed my knitting skill, I think I am ready to post most of my hand knitted toys... but here are some of the toys I knitted in the past.
